Children need healthy meals to learn. Butler Area School District offers healthy meals every school day.
Families must submit their free/reduced meal application each year in order to be eligible for free/reduced meals. Typically, breakfast costs $1.25 at all schools and lunch costs $2.50 for elementary, $2.75 for secondary, and $2.50 for Center Avenue.
During the 2024-2025 school year, all schools participating in the School Breakfast Program (SBP) are to provide free breakfasts for all enrolled students. Additionally, students identified as eligible for reduced-price lunches through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) will not be charged for their meals. This applies to all Butler Area School District Schools
Copies of the free/reduced application will be available online and at the Administration Building (110 Campus Lane, Butler, PA 16001) on July 1, 2024.
You can also fill out the free and reduced meals application online. However, you must have (or create) a SchoolCafe account.
You can also apply for many health and human service programs and manage your Pennsylvania benefit information from the COMPASS website. Click to visit COMPASS.
